Came here with a work colleague last night from Ottawa, and we were stuffed like glorious pigs with the most delicious foods. Super fun ambience, lovely servers, and an overall fantastic experience. Plus there’s a TOTO toilet lol. Highly recommend!
A quaint sugar shack in a popular area in Mirabel where you’ll find several sugar shacks. I must say that Nathalie and her family are such a warm and welcoming bunch. They define service with a smile. Food was delicious and really enjoyed the pulled ham. The pea soup, although tasty, was probably the weakest item on the menu. The addition of live music and a positive and happy atmosphere just made for a lovely experience. We will definitely be back.
This is a great sugar shack for events with family or friends. They have amazing food and fast service. Typical local dishes with a maple syrup twist. They have options for horse and carriage tour in the woods to see the maple trees and the process as well as being able to sample fresh syrup on the snow which is an amazing treat. They have a little animal petting shed outside and it is child friendly.

The food was great—had good variety and everything was freshly made and hot when served! The service was excellent as their staff really made you feel like you were a valued guest in their family home! Only issue was it was a little chilly if you sat near the windows. Otherwise great experience, will definitely be going back next year!
Nice sugar shack not too far from Montreal. Their menu is authentically Québécois. They also have vegetarian and gluten free options. There are some farm animals to pet and feed. By the end of the visit they offer the traditional maple syrup on ice experience. Overall, visiting a sugar shack is a good work activity and Au Pied de l’Èrable Cabane à sucre won’t disappoint. I recommend it.
